D0122 Big Trouble

Uh,...big trouble is putting it lightly. I always wondered what Mike could do with a "pulpy" subject like this. It's very unusual for him to tackle something sinister, but he manages here, with flying colors. Though it's about as riské as it gets,...nothing really is shown here! It's helplessness, and tension, and horror, all ramped to the max, and then focused like a hot laser on that tiny spot where the teensy panty-strap is stretched tightly over the blade of the scissor. It's almost Hitchcockian! The graphite tonations are so smooth as to seem airbrushed. Just masterful facility! Though probably not a subject to display on the livingroom wall, this is undeniably a fine, extremely provocative, work of art. Whew!
