Take Me Home
Well we're finishing this installment of drawings with a bang. Shy, and sweet-as-candy pose. But the miniscule dimensions of skirt and top, say differently. But then, her sweet smile brings us right back to innocent. Gah! There's that Yin Yang again. The draftsmanship here is magnificently controlled. Not so controlled as to become sterile (I doubt Mike's even capable of eliminating expressiveness). Just check out the hair. It seems an "alive" thing. It gleams with iridescence. The textures are so masterfully localized; the soft velvety flesh, the patterned clothing, the glossy, patent pumps.... You can almost put your arms around her!
