Here's an example where Mike takes the model to "the bodyshop". Viviana is a striking specimen, with piercing crystal blue eyes, unbelievable hair, and a nice chest. But her proportions from the ribcage, down, could use some improvement. There's a bit MORE work here than Mike usually does, but her felt the picture would benefit greatly from the alterations. Mike says, "I don't worry about copycats...this is work that could only be done by a seasoned figure sculptor. First, you must know what NEEDS to be done, and every picture is different. Then you must know anatomy well enough to build it convincingly, in three dimentions. It's trickier than it looks because there are 100 ways to do it wrong, and one way to do it right."
